For over 30 years, UNIWELD has been supplying high-precision manufacturing equipment for the aerospace industry. UNIWELD has made a major contribution to the success of the European space programme, especially for the European Ariane carrier rocket, starting with the Ariane 4 in 1985, through the various stages of development of the Ariane 5, up to the current Ariane 6.

UNIWELD is currently offering tank welding equipment. Using Friction stir welding (FSW), it can even join together high-tech work pieces which are not weldable in a regular arc welding procedure.

Moreover, UNIWELD is a manufacturer of milling machines as well as logistical process solutions and transport and handling systems for the production of Ariane rockets.
